Ethan Curtis of Essex High School  is the Head Coach of the North team. Ethan Graduated from Essex High School in 2010 where he played football and baseball. In 2009, Ethan was the starting left guard for a spectacular Essex Football team who went 11-0 to win the school’s first state championship since 1991. After high school, Ethan went on to play football at Castleton State College (currently known as Vermont State University Castleton). He played 4 years at Castleton as a linebacker, defensive linemen, and a fullback. Following his college graduation in 2014, Ethan began his high school coaching career back at his hometown school as a freshmen assistant coach, and moved his way up to the JV offensive coordinator. In 2018 Ethan accepted a job at Mt. Abe and took a year off from coaching due to his first daughter being born. Ethan picked up his coaching career again in 2019, when he became the head JV coach for the Mt. Abe Eagles.  2020 took Ethan back to Essex High School for work and coaching. In 2021 he was named the varsity offensive and defensive line coach and helped guide Essex to another State Championship. Since 2022, Ethan has been the head coach at Essex High School, and he is currently the Vice President of the Vermont Football Coaches Association. 

Coach Perry graduated from Fair Haven Union High School in 1997.  He then attended Nichols College in Dudley, MA. He graduated with a BS in business in 2001, played 4 years of college football. 

Coach Perry then moved back home to Fair Haven in 2006. He started coaching at Fair Haven in 2011, coaching wide receivers and defensive backs. In  2015 he became the defensive coordinator. 

Coach Perry was named the head coach at Fair Haven in 2024. He has been an assistant coach for the South in the North/South game 5 times, and also an assistant coach for the VT Shrine team once.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his children, golfing and jogging.
